Innovation requires a solid basis. With this conviction, the current owner and managing director started the acquisition process for SK Industriemodell in 2014. Following the acquisition he thoroughly re-positioned the company. The result of this process is a partner for plastic prototype and small volume series parts, a partner who consistently every day works towards optimizing the parts of his customers and towards increasing speed and flexibility in manufacturing.

New Branding
The completely new brand appearance for SK Industriemodell transports the strategic re-alignment of the company optically and in substance.
2016
NRW Founder Award
SK Industriemodell is nominated for the Founder Award of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia / Germany.
2015
Acquisition
Sebastian Krell (M.S. Eng.) acquires SK Industriemodell. His plan is to build on the strengths of the company and to capitalize on the optimization potential. His concept is nominated for the Founder Award of the Business Plan Competition AC2 of the Aachen City Region.
2014
New Management
Sebastian Krell starts working at SK Industriemodell and shortly thereafter is appointed managing director.

Consolidation of market position
SK Industriemodell secures well known tier one suppliers to the automotive industry as regular customers.

New Location
SK Industriemodell moves to a new location to accommodate its consistent business growth.
